CE-Certification
All Scubapro BCs described in this chapter have obtained the CE certification issued by a notified body according to European directive 89/686/EEC. Certification tests have been conducted according to the specifications set by the said directive, regulating the conditions for the release on the market and the fundamental safety requirement for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The CE mark denotes compliance with the fundamental requirements for health and safety. The number next to the CE marking is the identification code for the notified body yearly controlling production compliance with regulations, as per Art. 11A ED 89/686/EEC. The BCs described in this manual has obtained the CE certification according the EN250:2000 and EN1809:1997. |
